Privacy Policy

RoGoid ("we", "us") operates a Discord bot and web dashboard that verifies Roblox account ownership for Discord servers. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who can see it.

What we collect

• Discord identifiers your Discord user ID, username, and avatar, collected when you sign in or run a verification command.
• Roblox identifiers your Roblox user ID, username, and display name, collected when you complete Roblox OAuth.
• IP address collected at the moment you attempt verification, used exclusively for VPN/proxy/hosting detection and cross-account abuse signals. See "How we use your IP" below.
• Verification timestamps and outcomes when a verification succeeded, failed, or was blocked, and which server it happened in.
• Discord OAuth tokens stored to keep you signed in and to read the list of servers you manage, so the dashboard can show them to you. Tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) before being stored and are never exposed outside the authentication flow.

How we use your IP address

Your IP is sent to proxycheck.io, a third-party IP intelligence provider, at the moment of verification to determine whether it belongs to a VPN, proxy, or hosting/datacenter network. The raw IP is stored server-side, hashed for repeat-account matching, and used only by this pipeline.

Server administrators can never see your IP address. Not in member lists, not in alt-account views, not in exported logs, not anywhere in the dashboard. What admins can see is a non-identifying flag "this account shares a connection signal with another verified account" with no address, location, or ISP attached.

Alt-account detection

Because Roblox-to-Discord links are tracked site-wide rather than per-server, if the same Discord account has verified with more than one Roblox account (or vice versa) across any RoGoid-enabled server, that history is visible to admins of servers you're in with RoGoid installed. This is a core function of the bot and cannot be opted out of while verification is active.

Data retention

• Account links and verification logs are retained for as long as your Discord account remains linked, and for up to 12 months after you unlink, to preserve abuse-detection history.
• VPN block logs are retained for 12 months.
• Raw IP addresses are stored as part of your account link record, so they follow the same retention window as account links above, and are not exported or shared outside the verification pipeline.
• You can request deletion of your data by contacting us below, subject to retention we're required to keep for active abuse investigations.

Who we share data with

We share IP addresses with proxycheck.io solely to evaluate VPN/proxy/hosting status at verification time. We do not sell personal data. We do not share Roblox or Discord identifiers with anyone outside the server(s) you verify in.

Your choices

You can unlink a Roblox account at any time from your RoGoid account settings. Unlinking removes the active link from server admin views but does not erase historical verification logs used for abuse prevention, per the retention terms above.

Who operates RoGoid

RoGoid is operated by an individual based in Denmark, reachable via Discord as 26rk. Denmark is an EU/EEA member state, so processing under this policy is carried out in accordance with the GDPR. If you're located in the EU/EEA and believe your data has been mishandled, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
